This year I had the privilege of working with Ravensbourne University's in-house creative agency CreativeLab - a studio, network and community of alumni, students, practitioners and industry partners who provide creative services for brands and public institutions like Koppaberg, Apple, Nike, Barclays and more. CreativeLab make films, curate events, prototype digital products, facilitate insight and design communication strategies. The official compiled short series of Marilyn! For the final term of my second year at University, I was challenged with creating a weekly series of three short episodic instalments. I decided to focus on the idea of how corrupt Hollywood can be by comparing Marilyn and Amy to their famous counterparts! This is not a biopic of either people but a symbolistic representation of how damaging fame was to them. The Facade (2021): Official Film

Here's my short 'The Facade' I made in my first year at University. The script was very dystopian and elaborate so we had enormous difficulty bringing it to fruition. To summarise, the protagonist is captured in an abnormal environment where the people around him are claiming to be his family. Eventually, Augustine, is revealed as the antagonist who orchestrated this plot and unlawfully gathered everyone together using futuristic devices to brainwash them. Although the narrative is certainly complex, I am happy with the tense and suspenseful atmosphere we created! #thefacade #shortfilm #studentfilm #nathanparker
